It is hard to recycle in Lubbock. There are only a few places that will accept your recyclables. However, Texas Tech University does have a recycling center and they welcome your donations. I took my recycling to Texas Tech Recycling Center yesterday. The staff was busy working sorting the items from the dumpsters. A man pushing a cart stopped at the back of my car as I finished bagging my items and offered to help. He mentioned that he was glad I brought my items in because the dumpsters were about empty.
